Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments so every patient feels safe and cared for
• Assist the orthodontist chairside during adjustments, bracket placements, and wire changes
• Take dental radiographs and intraoral scans with precision and a gentle touch
• Educate patients and families on braces care, aligner use, and oral hygiene
• Keep sterilization, inventory, and patient records organized and up to date
• Create a welcoming environment that helps patients smile with confidence

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification required
• Dental Assisting experience preferred
• Current Maryland Dental Assistant credentials or ability to obtain
• CPR certification is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Passion for orthodontics and patient care
