Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide gentle and thorough dental cleanings to patients of all ages
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Assist dentists with procedures and charting
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment
• Build positive relationships with patients and team members

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with dental software and X-ray equipment preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and infection control
• Skill in using dental instruments and X-ray equipment
• Excellent patient education and interpersonal abilities
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical setting
