Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy care to a diverse caseload of patients working toward better movement and function
• Evaluate each patient's strength, mobility, balance and pain to build a personalized plan of care
• Design and progress therapeutic exercise programs that keep patients motivated and moving forward
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise routines, safety and injury prevention so progress sticks
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, occupational therapists and support team members to coordinate the best outcomes
• Document evaluations, treatments and progress notes accurately and on time in the electronic medical record
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants and students when needed
• Jump in as a dependable part of a team that is filling a critical need in the community

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Physical Therapist license, or the ability to obtain one before your start date
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Experience in an outpatient or skilled rehab setting is a great fit, though strong new grads are welcome to apply
• Willingness to bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at the facility at all times
• A reliable, team-first attitude and a genuine love for helping patients feel better
