Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake, and output, and report changes to the nursing team
• Help patients move safely, including transfers, ambulation, and positioning
• Support patient comfort and dignity by responding promptly to call lights and needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment while following infection control protocols
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with nurses and other team members
• Offer emotional support and a reassuring presence to patients and families

Qualifications

• Active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a per diem basis
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move patients throughout the shift
• Prior CNA experience is a plus, but new certified CNAs are welcome to apply
