Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms, escalating changes promptly
• Perform ongoing assessments and document findings accurately in the EMR
• Administer medications and treatments while keeping safety front and center
• Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and allied staff to build solid care plans
• Educate patients and families so they feel confident and informed
• Respond calmly and quickly to changes in patient condition

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Current BLS certification
• Prior Medical Surgical and Telemetry experience preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to jump in quickly and hit the ground running
• A team-first attitude and a genuine passion for patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Electronic medical record documentation
• Patient assessment and care planning
• Clear communication with patients, families, and the care team
• Adaptability in a fast-paced acute care environment
