Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, compassionate nursing care to patients walking in with urgent needs
• Triage incoming patients and prioritize care based on acuity and symptoms
• Perform assessments, take vitals, and document findings accurately in the EMR
• Administer medications, start IVs, and assist providers with minor procedures
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Keep the unit running smoothly by restocking supplies and maintaining a safe environment
• Collaborate closely with physicians, medical assistants, and front desk staff to keep wait times low

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification preferred but not required
• Prior urgent care, emergency, or ambulatory care experience is a plus
• Comfortable working independently during overnight hours
• Strong communication skills and a genuine love for patient care
• Ability to hit the ground running with minimal orientation
