Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during examinations and procedures to ensure smooth patient care
• Prepare patients and treatment rooms for each appointment
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
• Maintain accurate patient records using Denticon software
• Provide patients with post-operative instructions and education
• Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

• Certification as an Orthodontic Assistant is required
• Experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
• Familiarity with Denticon software is a plus
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work the Monday-Friday afternoon-evening shift

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Skill in using dental software, especially Denticon
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with patients and the dental team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
