Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized therapy interventions following the PT plan of care
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status clearly with the supervising PT
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Rhode Island PTA license (or ability to obtain one)
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Skilled in therapy interventions and treatment plan implementation
• Proficient in patient documentation and education
• Knowledge of home exercise programs and patient training
• Committed to infection control and safety compliance
