Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings and oral exams
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth patient experiences
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately
• Promote a comfortable and reassuring environment for patients of all ages

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or compact eligibility if applicable)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in dental hygiene, preferably in a clinical setting
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with patients and team members
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization protocols, and infection control
• Proficient in taking and interpreting dental x-rays
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Attention to detail and meticulous documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
