Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas to ensure safety
• Take and process dental X-rays with care and precision
• Educate young patients and their families on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Support the smooth flow of the clinic by managing patient records and room turnover
• Collaborate with a friendly team to create a positive dental experience for kids

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training and experience
• Experience working with children in a dental setting preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication skills and a warm, patient demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• X-ray certification or willingness to obtain it

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and sterilization protocols
• Skill in taking dental radiographs with proper safety measures
• Understanding of pediatric dentistry and child-friendly communication techniques
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
• Comfortable working as part of a close-knit team
