Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
• Document services accurately and timely to ensure continuity of care
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs per practice acts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize outcomes
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
• Active state PT license (or ability to obtain one before start)
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs

Education

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient evaluation and treatment plan development
• Direct therapy delivery and functional mobility restoration
• Supervision of PTAs and Rehab Technicians
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and family education
• Regulatory compliance, safety, and infection control
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Clinical reasoning and adaptability
