Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care and assistance to residents
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
• Take and record vital signs, and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Support residents with mobility and transfer needs safely
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Document care provided accurately and communicate with the care team

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Ability to stand for long periods and safely lift or move residents
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
• Skill in using vital signs equipment and mobility aids
• Ability to follow care plans and document patient information
• Interpersonal skills to comfort and support residents and families
• Time management skills to prioritize care tasks
