Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs, food intake, and behavioral changes
• Communicate promptly with nursing staff regarding any changes in resident condition
• Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for each resident
• Support residents with meals, feeding, and hydration

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Ability to pass a background check and provide employment eligibility as required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and safety protocols
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
• Attention to detail when documenting and reporting
• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and supporting residents
