Shift Type: 2:45 PM - 11:00 PM, 30-minute meal break

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
  • Monitor and document vital signs, intake, and output, reporting changes to nursing staff
  • Support residents during meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and their families
  • Communicate effectively with the care team to ensure residents' needs are met

Qualifications

  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
  • Ability to work a per diem schedule, including afternoon and evening shifts
  • Completion of COVID-19 vaccine or a documented religious/medical exemption, as required

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
  • Attention to detail in documentation and reporting
  • Physical stamina to assist with resident mobility and care tasks
