Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 2:45 PM - 11:00 PM, 30-minute meal break
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake, and output, reporting changes to nursing staff
- Support residents during meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and their families
- Communicate effectively with the care team to ensure residents' needs are met
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
- Ability to work a per diem schedule, including afternoon and evening shifts
- Completion of COVID-19 vaccine or a documented religious/medical exemption, as required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Attention to detail in documentation and reporting
- Physical stamina to assist with resident mobility and care tasks
