Start Date: 09-12-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Evening shift, 2:45 PM - 11:00 PM (30-minute meal break)
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, repositioning, and transfers to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake, and output, reporting changes to nursing staff
- Support patients with meals, feeding, and hydration needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility is a plus
- Ability to pass a background check and provide required identification
- COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach
- Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and daily tasks
