Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized therapy plans to enhance their daily living skills
• Deliver therapeutic interventions that help patients achieve greater independence
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to ensure high-quality care
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and families to ensure holistic patient care
• Uphold safety and regulatory standards to provide ethical and effective therapy

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
• Active state OT license in Wyoming (or the ability to obtain one)
• Strong clinical skills, excellent documentation habits, and effective communication
• Experience in rehabilitation or skilled nursing settings preferred but not required

Education

• Master's degree (MOT) or Doctorate (OTD) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Occupational therapy patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Discharge planning and documentation
• Supervision of COTAs
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for OT practice
