Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during exams and procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate patient records and update health histories
• Provide compassionate support to help kids feel at ease
• Manage appointment flow and support the dental team

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification or registration as required by the state of Wisconsin
• Radiology/X-ray certification preferred
• Experience working with children in a dental or healthcare setting is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• A caring, patient, and positive attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols
• Familiarity with dental software for scheduling and records
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Compassionate chairside manner with pediatric patients
