Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth patient experience
- Prepare patients for treatment and take dental X-rays with precision and care
- Sterilize and prepare dental instruments, maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care to promote long-term health
- Maintain accurate patient records and support efficient office flow
- Manage supplies and inventory to keep the practice running seamlessly
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and equipment
- X-ray certification (Radiology Health and Safety) is a plus
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of dental terminology and orthodontic best practices
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Denticon)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a positive attitude
