Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety
- Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond promptly to any concerns
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on care plans, medications, and health promotion
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation is preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- A compassionate and professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and standards
- Proficiency in medication administration, including IV therapy and injections
- Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with residents, families, and the care team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
