Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Create a welcoming and friendly environment for young patients to help ease dental anxiety
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms between patients
• Take and process dental x-rays with care and precision
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with chairside documentation

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Radiography (X-ray) certification required
• Experience working with children in a healthcare or dental setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Understanding of pediatric dental care and behavior guidance
• Proficient with dental practice management software
• Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities
