Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings and periodontal therapy
- Educate patients on oral health and preventive care techniques
- Assist the dentist during procedures and examinations
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Document patient treatments and update health histories accurately
- Ensure a sterile, safe, and welcoming clinical environment
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical skills and attention to patient comfort
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
- Proficiency in dental charting and radiograph techniques
- Understanding of infection control and sterilization standards
- Strong patient education and communication skills
- Adaptability and time management in a fast-paced setting
