Shift Type: Sunday, September 13, 2026; 6:45 AM - 3:00 PM (day shift, 30-minute meal break)
Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing team
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure their safety and comfort
- Support individuals with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment while following infection control protocols
- Document care accurately and communicate thoughtfully with the healthcare team
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
- Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain before starting
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living is a plus
- A genuine passion for helping others and providing respectful, dignified care
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and support patients as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care principles and safety protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to stay calm in fast-paced situations
