Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Day shift, Thursday, September 10, 2026, 6:45 AM - 3:00 PM (30-minute meal break)
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and support to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and eating
- Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Communicate effectively with nurses and other care team members
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
- Current BLS or CPR certification
- Ability to lift and assist patients as needed
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care and safety practices
- Skill in using vital sign monitoring equipment
- Understanding of infection control protocols
- Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations
- Excellent bedside manner and attention to detail
