Shift Type: Per diem, days vary, 6:45 AM - 3:00 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
  • Take and record vital signs, and report changes to nursing staff
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
  • Support residents with meals, feeding, and hydration
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Document care provided accurately and timely
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team

Qualifications

  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Compassionate and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • New graduates are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of basic patient care techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Empathy and patience when working with residents
  • Understanding of infection control practices
