Location: Kennebunk, Maine

Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Night shift (NOC), 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM, includes 30-minute meal break
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes promptly
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and aftercare
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comforting environment for all patients
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics preferred
- Ability to work per-diem shifts, including nights and weekends as needed
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and dosage calculations
- Electronic health records (EHR) charting
- Patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, and documentation
- Infection control and safety protocols
- Effective communication with patients, families, and team members
- Compassion, patience, and attention to detail
