Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes promptly
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and aftercare
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comforting environment for all patients

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics preferred
• Ability to work per-diem shifts, including nights and weekends as needed
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and dosage calculations
• Electronic health records (EHR) charting
• Patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, and documentation
• Infection control and safety protocols
• Effective communication with patients, families, and team members
• Compassion, patience, and attention to detail
