Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting changes to the care team
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other professionals to ensure optimal care
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Maine
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption
• Ability to pass a background check and provide required identification
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Medication administration and dosage calculations
• Vital signs monitoring and patient assessment
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Infection control and safety protocols
• Empathy, patience, and active listening
