Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting changes to the care team
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other professionals to ensure optimal care
- Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Maine
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
- Completed COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption
- Ability to pass a background check and provide required identification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and dosage calculations
- Vital signs monitoring and patient assessment
- Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
- Infection control and safety protocols
- Empathy, patience, and active listening
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
