Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient exams and procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for each patient
• Take dental radiographs and maintain accurate patient records
• Provide compassionate care and clear instructions to patients
• Manage orthodontic supplies and keep the operatory organized
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for every visit

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Dental Assistant (required)
• Experience in orthodontic assisting is preferred
• Maryland Dental Assistant licensure or eligibility
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office
• Commitment to infection control and safety protocols
