Occupational Therapist - Skilled Nursing Facility
Location: Rancho Mirage, CA
Contract Type: Perm
Candidate Pay Rate: $59.5 - $59.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized OT treatment plans that improve daily function
- Deliver skilled occupational therapy services to geriatric residents with compassion and clinical expertise
- Collaborate closely with rehab and nursing teams to coordinate care and achieve the best outcomes
- Maintain compliance with state and facility policies while documenting care clearly and professionally
Qualifications
- Valid California Occupational Therapy license (required)
- SNF experience preferred but not required — we welcome clinicians ready to grow in a skilled nursing setting
- Passion for geriatric rehabilitation and helping older adults regain independence
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in occupational therapy assessment and treatment planning
- Experience or interest in geriatric rehabilitation and resident-centered care
- Ability to collaborate with nursing and rehab staff to coordinate treatment
- Familiarity with maintaining regulatory and facility policy compliance
