Mobile X-Ray Tech
Location: Sacramento, CA (may visit Walnut Creek, San Jose & Santa Cruz)
Shift Type: Day shifts, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (specific start/end times and exact days not provided)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $50 - $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform mobile radiographic exams with care and precision, delivering high-quality diagnostic images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while following radiation safety protocols
- Operate and maintain portable X-ray equipment, keeping it clean and ready for use
- Document procedures and accurately enter imaging information into patient records
- Communicate clearly with patients and fellow care team members to support coordinated care
- Travel between assigned locations as needed and manage time effectively across shifts
Qualifications
- Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray certification or state licensure as required
- ARRT certification preferred where applicable
- Previous mobile or radiography experience preferred, though entry level candidates will be considered
- Ability to commit to full-time schedule or to those part-time minimums
- Reliable transportation and comfort traveling between assigned locations
Education
- Certificate or associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; high school diploma or GED required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and image quality
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles and infection control
- Comfort operating portable X-ray equipment
- Good patient care and communication skills
- Basic documentation skills and familiarity with electronic patient records
