Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Support residents with mobility, personal hygiene, feeding, and toileting needs
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow facility care plans
• Adhere to infection control practices and personal protective equipment protocols
• Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing to maintain high standards of care
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and colleagues
• Help create a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment for every resident

Qualifications

• Current state CNA certification (must be in good standing)
• BLS certification required
• Ability to pass Trinity specialty competency testing and license/certificate verification
• Must complete required health screenings: fit test, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Trinity 10 panel drug screen, respirator evaluation, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, and influenza vaccine
• Successful background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and reliable work ethic

Education

• State-certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and personal care
• Able to measure and record vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection control and proper use of PPE
• Good documentation and basic charting skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Situational awareness and resident safety focus
