Location: Scarborough, ME

Shift Type: Day shift, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM, rotating weekends (schedule varies; approximately 32-40 hours per week)
Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and daily assessments to support recovery
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to care plans
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and the care team to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
- Support resident comfort and dignity through patient-centered bedside care
- Communicate clearly with families and team members about care needs and progress
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
- Maine LPN licensure preferred or ability to obtain Maine licensure prior to start
- BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working day shifts and participating in a rotating weekend schedule
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Education
- LPN diploma or vocational nursing certificate
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Patient assessment and reporting changes in condition
- Care planning and documentation best practices
- Infection control and safety protocols
- Teamwork, time management, and effective communication
- Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
