Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in line with care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to the care team
- Document resident care and observations clearly in the medical record
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Support residents and families with clear communication and a calm presence
- Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect residents and staff
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
- Local candidates only; must have reliable transportation
- Willingness to follow required return-to-office (RTO) terms as noted in the contract
- Comfortable working in a long-term care/skilled nursing environment
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical skills in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Comfortable with resident assessment and recognizing changes in condition
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and team members
- Accurate documentation and basic familiarity with electronic health records
- Good time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
