Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Perform routine assessments and escalate changes in condition promptly
- Maintain clear, timely electronic and paper charting to support continuity of care
- Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, therapists, and physicians to deliver coordinated care
- Promote a safe, clean, and respectful environment for patients and families
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — current and in good standing (required)
- Previous LPN experience preferred but new grads from accredited programs are welcome to apply
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear background check and ability to work locally at the assigned facility
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
- High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care and assessment skills with attention to detail
- Medication administration and documentation skills
- Basic knowledge of infection control and safety practices
- Effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff
- Comfortable using electronic medical records and following care plans
