Registered Nurse - Travel – UHC Staffing

Location: St. Petersburg, FL

Start Date: 05-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with every other weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform treatments as ordered
Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

Active RN license in Florida or compact state
Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
Current BLS certification (AHA)
ACLS certification preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to work every other weekend and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EHR systems and medical charting
Excellent patient assessment and clinical judgment
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Time management and prioritization skills
Adaptable to changing patient needs and unit demands
