Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document according to facility policies
• Perform patient assessments and report changes in condition promptly to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs, providers and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic charting and medication records
• Assist with activities of daily living and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Follow infection control practices and facility protocols to protect patients and staff
• Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment

Qualifications

• Active LPN credential (Licensed Practical Nurse) — required
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
• Comfort with medication administration, documentation, and basic clinical assessments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Local candidates only (position is local-only)

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma or completion of an accredited LPN program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic IV/shot proficiency
• Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
• Infection prevention and safety protocols
• Effective communication with patients, families and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and prioritization during busy day-shift workflow
