Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and monitor patient condition with attention to detail
- Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and policies
- Document patient status, interventions and responses accurately and promptly
- Communicate clearly with RNs, providers and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
- Assist with patient education, discharge planning and family communication
- Support safe handoffs and maintain continuity of care across shifts
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; ability to practice in Georgia is required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable with medication administration, basic assessments and documentation
- Professional, reliable and able to collaborate effectively with clinical teams
- Valid state-required credentials and compliance with facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Completed vocational nursing program or LPN certificate/diploma
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care and clinical assessment skills
- Competent medication administration and basic wound care knowledge
- Clear verbal and written communication for documentation and team coordination
- Familiarity with electronic health records and charting best practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment
