Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in the Sandia Ridge Center area
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Assess and monitor patient condition, reporting changes to the care team
- Document care thoroughly and timely in the medical record
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to develop and follow care plans
- Educate residents and families about care plans, medications, and safety
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection prevention protocols
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - current and in good standing
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work the assigned schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, early mornings into evenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Local candidates preferred (LOCAL ONLY)
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN program; high school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Comfortable with patient assessments, vital signs, and documentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
- Familiarity with long-term care workflows and safety protocols
