Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, helping with activities of daily living with dignity and respect
• Assist nursing staff with routine clinical tasks and timely documentation to support continuity of care
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the care team so interventions happen fast
• Support safe mobility and positioning, reducing falls and promoting independence
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families, bringing warmth and professionalism to every interaction

Qualifications

• Valid LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant certification (VT or NH credentials accepted)
• Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willingness to obtain
• Demonstrated compassion, strong communication skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work the posted rotating day schedule and reliably attend assigned shifts
• Successful background checks and any facility-required screenings

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed LNA / Nursing Assistant program and active LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and safe lifting/transfer techniques
• Infection control and basic clinical observation skills
• Accurate charting and timely communication with the nursing team
• Ability to follow care plans and prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Teamwork mindset and a calm, resident-centered approach
