Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and ensure dignity in daily activities
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) with respect and patience
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing team promptly
- Document care accurately and timely to maintain clear communication across shifts
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment for everyone
- Participate in meaningful shift handoffs and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
Qualifications
- Valid LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification — aligned with the LNA classification in the job details
- Authorized to work in New Hampshire (facility located in NH)
- Comfortable and reliable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift, including weekends
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in providing patient-centered personal care with empathy
- Familiarity with documentation practices and timely charting
- Knowledge of infection control and basic safety protocols
- Good time management — able to prioritize resident care during busy shifts
- Collaborative approach to working with nurses, therapists, and support staff
