Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day). Training: 1-2 weeks, Monday-Friday, 8-hour days

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality individual and group mental health therapy for adults in a correctional setting
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans that drive recovery
• Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization when urgent needs arise
• Document clinical encounters, progress notes and treatment updates accurately and on time
• Collaborate with correctional staff and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and promote safety
• Support rehabilitation goals and assist with referrals and continuity of care planning
• Participate in training, case reviews and quality improvement activities to enhance services

Qualifications

• Active LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license (as listed in job: LCSW or LMFT; LPCC candidates encouraged)
• Experience or strong interest in adult mental health practice; correctional experience is a plus
• Comfortable working in a correctional facility and following facility-specific policies and procedures
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation and crisis-management skills
• Professional, reliable, and ready to complete any required facility onboarding or background checks

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of evidence-based mental health interventions and treatment planning
• Skilled in individual and group therapy, clinical assessment and crisis intervention
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with clinical recordkeeping best practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and correctional staff
• Cultural competence and trauma-informed approach to care
