Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 5 8-hour day shifts with rotating evening/night/weekend call rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE) to capture vital heart images
Conduct Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) for detailed cardiac assessments
Administer contrast studies using Optison/Definity and bubble studies with precision
Execute Exercise and Dobutamine Stress Echoes to evaluate heart function under stress
Handle occasional rare Pediatric TTE cases with care and expertise

Qualifications

RDCS certification from CCI or ARDMS
BLS certification from AHA
Experience with Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, or Siemens Origin equipment
Left-handed scanner preferred for optimal performance

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in TTE, TEE, Contrast (Optison/Definity), Bubble studies
Proficient in Exercise and Dobutamine Stress Echo
Familiarity with inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic, ER, and Cath lab settings
Comfortable with EMR systems like Athena, Meditech, and PICOM
