Roles & Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic imaging across modalities including XR, CT, MR, US, fluoroscopy and nuclear medicine with accuracy and timeliness
• Perform light interventional procedures such as image-guided biopsies and drainages to provide definitive care when needed
• Conduct diagnostic lumbar punctures, myelograms and arthrograms with attention to patient comfort and safety
• Collaborate with emergency, pediatric and neurologic teams to support acute care and subspecialty needs
• Deliver clear, actionable reports and communicate results to referring clinicians in a timely manner
• Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain compliance with institutional policies, safety protocols and documentation standards

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
• Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Active or eligible for Pennsylvania medical license (ability to obtain state licensure required)
• Experience with CT, MR, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine and mammography
• Comfortable performing light IR procedures including image-guided biopsies and drainages
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinicians and support staff

Education

• MD or DO
• Completion of Diagnostic Radiology residency

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skills in cross-sectional imaging (CT and MR) and ultrasound interpretation
• Fluoroscopy and image-guided procedural competence
• Familiarity with nuclear medicine protocols and mammography diagnostic procedures
• Ability to handle a mixed case load including ER, neuro, pediatric and breast diagnostic cases
• Experience with PACS, RIS and electronic medical record systems
• Good clinical judgment, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
