Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure everything is ready for each patient
• Welcome and seat young patients, helping them feel comfortable and at ease
• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures with a calm, supportive presence
• Take dental radiographs and manage digital imaging as needed
• Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control standards
• Keep accurate patient records and update charts efficiently
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and aftercare
• Manage supplies and keep the clinical area organized and stocked

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant certification or state registration as required in Wisconsin
• Previous dental assisting experience, ideally in pediatric or family dentistry
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Radiography or X-ray certification if required by the office
• Strong communication skills and a child-friendly approach
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to make a difference
