Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during exams and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and process dental X-rays with care
• Teach young patients about healthy oral hygiene habits
• Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments
• Provide a warm, comforting experience for children and families

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, especially with children
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Current CPR certification
• State licensure as required by Wisconsin

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Skill in sterilization and infection control
• Friendly and patient-centered approach
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental team
• Time management and organization
• Radiography/X-ray certification
