Bill Rate: $112,500 - $153,000 per year

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide direct pharmaceutical care in the ED, including medication selection, dosing, monitoring, and patient education.
  • Lead the development and implementation of ED-specific medication protocols and quality initiatives.
  • Respond to emergency codes such as code blue, trauma, and stroke alerts.
  • Precept pharmacy students and residents to shape the next generation of clinical pharmacists.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes in urgent and emergent care scenarios.
  • Serve on medical staff and hospital-wide committees focused on patient safety and care excellence.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program is required.
  • Current Kansas Pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure is highly preferred.
  • Clinical or hospital pharmacy experience preferred; Emergency Department experience is a plus.
  • Residency training preferred.
  • Must be willing to work on-site in Salina, KS and relocate if needed.
