Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions in line with established care plans
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and functional goals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to support patient outcomes
- Communicate effectively with the supervising OT and the interdisciplinary care team
- Ensure high-quality patient care and maintain a safe therapeutic environment
Qualifications
- Current California COTA license (required)
- Prior Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience strongly preferred
- Reliable, professional, and patient-focused approach to care
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage a consistent caseload
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with supervising OT and team
Knowledge & Skills
- Practical knowledge of ADLs, functional mobility, and therapeutic techniques
- Skill in delivering interventions for strength, coordination, and functional goals
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and charting
- Teamwork and effective interdisciplinary communication
- Time management and organization in a busy SNF environment
