Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - SNF
Location: San Rafael, CA
Contract Type: Perm
Candidate Pay Rate: $45.5 - $45.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled occupational therapy interventions under OT supervision to help residents regain independence and function
- Assist with care planning and provide clear, compassionate patient and family education to support meaningful recovery goals
- Complete accurate and timely documentation to ensure continuity of care and meet regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Active California COTA license (required)
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the rehab team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation detail
- Ability to work collaboratively under OT supervision in a skilled nursing facility
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of skilled OT interventions appropriate for SNF residents
- Excellent patient and team communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and precise documentation practices
- Experience with patient education and care planning in a rehabilitation setting
