Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care
- Follow facility protocols and uphold infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain before start)
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
- Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting as required by the facility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist with patient lifting and transfers
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and safety protocols
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy laws
- Skill in using patient care equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and thermometers
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills
