Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Various days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to residents, assisting with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating
Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
Support residents' emotional and social well-being through engagement
Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

Valid Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
Current BLS/CPR certification
Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
Experience in long-term care or rehab setting preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of infection control practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Time management and organizational skills
Understanding of resident rights and dignity
