Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions to help patients regain independence in daily activities
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs

Qualifications

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in California (or compact eligibility)
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Master's or Doctorate)
• At least 1 year of recent clinical experience in a similar setting
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Willingness to float to different units as needed within the facility
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in patient assessment and treatment planning
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques for physical and cognitive rehabilitation
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
